I see great stuff!! Chris Robertson isn't blocking as strongly anymore with his bottom arm which is allowing his hips to elevate and create a true turn on a long axis (in line with the pole) with his legs still pointed relatively skyward. Robertson...you may have the best pole carry and plant of everybody. Your transition off the ground is very smooth. I see your biggest limitation as your speed. By the end of the season, if you can back up and get on the 14' 140# green pole, you'll be looking at 12' 6". Get aggressive down the runway and really rock that trail leg through fast to get the hips higher. I'm very pleased with what I saw out of you in this video. Congratulations Felix!! I see improvements in your top end too at those last two heights. If the last bar was at 13 feet, you have at least 6 more inches of height to achieve through technical improvements with your grip height you were using and 6 more inches of grip height you will gain by the end of the season upon backing up with more speed. Add to that 5 more pounds of pole and you can do the math. Step and plant mechanic consistency is a bit of an issue right now. If you improve those, your swing will happen faster and your inversion off the top will be better. Overall, I'm so pleased you're on the 14' 6" pole from only 6. You know what it did for Garett last year at just about this time of year too. Gomoluch has some of the best pull up the pole and turn of anybody I see. (I see shades of old world class stiff polers in you...that's a good thing.) Cat...very nice to see you on your black pole and excellent bend and swing on the white pole. Vaulting with a bend is coming much more naturally for you now. I wouldn't worry about the last height...that's just trying to throw something together with a 6 step at the last minute when you were technically beyond the white pole from 5. Quite honestly, I think you are going to be very glad you bought the next pole up. Not sure where your standards were, but I think your last vault had enough bend and happened so quickly that your new pole would have been the right one for that height and even the next. Will keep watching all of you.
"Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one receivesthe prize? So run that you may obtain it. Every athlete exercises self-control in all things. They do it to receive a perishable wreath, but we an imperishable. So I do not run aimlessly; I do not box as one beating the air. But I discipline my body and keep it under control." 1 Corinthians 9: 24-27
"I can do all things through him who strengthens me." Philippians 4:13
Unless the Lord builds the house, those who build it labor in vain. Unless the Lord watches over the city, the watchman stays awake in vain. It is in vain that you rise up early and go late to rest, eating the bread of anxious toil; for he gives to his beloved sleep. Psalm 127
So, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God. 1 Corinthians 10:31

"To give anything less than your best is to sacrifice the Gift."
"How does a kid from Coos Bay, with one leg longer than the other win races? All my life people have been telling me, 'You're too small Pre', 'You're not fast enough Pre', 'Give up your foolish dream Steve'. But they forgot something, I HAVE TO WIN."
